Marlow Explorer 75E

Imagine yourself on a Marlow Yacht...

Explorer 75E

Available with Enclosed Command Bridge, Semi-Enclosed,
or Open Flybridge.

This model was built for a cruising couple who wanted comfort, style, and entertainment flexibility while on board. From the Command Bridge on down through this luxurious ship to the crew quarters and engine room, the qualities the owners desired are brought to life in this 75E.

The 75E feels like a superyacht, and she is in all respects except length, allowing the owners to operate without a crew if they so desire.

Entry to the yacht’s cockpit is made easy from docks high and low with side gates port and starboard, as well as two molded stairways providing access from the broad swim platform with its substantial N-rails for added safety. The large aft deck features a comfortable settee nearly encircling the area. The added curtains allow the use of the space in all weather. Upon entering the salon, the feeling of quiet elegance reminiscent of old-world yachting settles upon you. The long expanse of teak and holly floors with double ultra leather settees leads you to a beautiful and comfortable teak bar complete with custom bar stools. With the double salon bulkhead doors open, the entire space from the pilothouse galley to the aft deck becomes one large space, creating the indoor/outdoor continuity so popular today. As you look around the salon, it is obvious that no detail was overlooked in the design and execution of this yacht. The rich teak cabinetry and crown molding are finished to the highest standard, and the signature routing design of the teak trim adds a special charm.

The well-thought-out and equipped galley is in the pilothouse, up three steps from the salon. While it is a chef’s delight functionally, it is housed in beautifully handcrafted cabinetry with granite countertops and high-end appliances. The under-counter Miele DW and Sub-Zero drawer refrigeration eliminate the need for bulkhead wall space and visually open the pilothouse to the salon. The entire fore part of the pilothouse, under the arc of the windshield, is a spacious dining area with a gorgeous view.

The command bridge is accessed from the pilothouse via a teak stairway. This is truly a command center! The dual helm chairs are the center of an array of instruments, providing the captain control at his fingertips. The enormous enclosed bridge provides 360° visibility for the captain, and the large dinette provides a comfortable place for guests to lounge and enjoy the cruise. When cruising in great weather, doors on the port and starboard side can be opened to bring in the great outdoors. Through the aft door of the CB is a large open deck area with a bar and seating. Equipped with a galley unit, you can grill and prepare a casual meal without leaving the command bridge. A day head adds to the convince and comfort of all aboard, and there is ample room for your dinghy on the aft upper deck, which is lowered and raised with an appropriate-sized davit.

Accommodations

The four staterooms, three of them ensuite, are accessed from the pilothouse via a gracefully curved stairway to a companionway bright with light from an overhead skylight. The master suite is amidship and extends from beam to beam. A king-size bed is centerline with a large head and walk-in closet behind the bulkhead. A bank of hanging lockers, a settee, and a vanity provide ample storage and comfort in privacy.

The VIP stateroom in the bow features a king-size bed, a large head with a stall shower, and a second master suite. Staterooms on the port and starboard sides will accommodate four guests or family members and all their belongings! A third full head is shared. As in all Marlow Explorers, there is copious storage, cedar-lined hanging lockers, and plenty of privacy.

The crew quarters are accessed via a stairway from the aft deck. They have a galley and a head with a full standing-room shower stall. They are every bit as luxurious as the main staterooms, so in an owner/operator situation, the crew quarters can function as another guest suite.

We come finally to the engine room. Its glossy white gel coat and gleaming polished stainless steel are impressive, even to those who do not know a CAT from a Cummins! The immaculate chamber houses the big power plants, generators, water makers, and countless other necessities and still allows you complete access to all areas for inspection or service. Teak grates form the central floor over the bilge trace between the carbon fiber stringers with stainless steel engine mounts. Meticulous installation and beautiful labeling of all connections create a space that makes work a pleasure. A built-in workbench adds to the ease of the tasks at hand.
